HAVE COME VERBO ORDINARIO

have significa possesso ed è il significato più importante

He has got blond hair

aggiungiamo got per sottolineare questo significato

got può essere omesso se si tratta di un’abitudine mentre si utilizza l’ausiliare do o does

Do you ever have pizza ?

In America si predilige la forma con do

Do you have time ? (America )

Have you got time ? (Inghilterra)

got non viene usato nelle risposte brevi

have you got a dog ? Yes I have

have ha anche il significato di take a meal / drink / a bath / a shower oppure give a party /experience

in questo caso non è mai seguito da got e nella forma negativa e interrogativa utilizzano il do

Do you have coffee for breakfast ?

I haven’t coffee for breakfast

Attenzione alla terza persone la forma è la stessa del verbo to be

un’alternativa della forma contratta I’ve not you’ve not …...

l’interrogativo non è contratto

la forma interrogativa negativa è Have I not ? Have you not ? …… oppure havent’ I ? haven’t you?
